Solid wood products are highly durable and long-lasting, but the period during which they retain their original appearance and quality depends significantly on the operating conditions.

The most favorable climatic conditions for products are a constant air temperature from +19°C to +25°C at a relative humidity of 40%-65% without sudden and frequent changes. If the room humidity is insufficient, during the heating season and when using an air conditioner, it is recommended to use a humidifier. Please note that changes in temperature and humidity can lead to deformation, swelling, cracking, damage to the coating, finish and loss of the original appearance of the product.

In order for the product to have a good appearance and serve for a long time, it is necessary to follow these simple rules:

Any furniture should be used in accordance with its functional purpose without excessive loads. The first 6-8 weeks of the product, the wood gets used to the new room, its temperature, humidity. If during this period you hear the product crackling, check the humidity level and room temperature.
The use of products is considered incorrect if there are sufficient grounds to assert that they or their individual surfaces were subjected to mechanical, thermal impacts, exposure to water or steam, exposure to aggressive agents or dyes, etc., as a result of which damage appeared in the places of exposure (swelling, scratches, chips, etc.). ⠀
It is necessary to protect products from various mechanical impacts and from direct sunlight to prevent fading, cracking and deformation;
If the products require treatment with water, it is recommended to wash them by hand. Washing and care of products is also allowed to be done using ordinary detergents, with the exception of abrasive powders, acetone, solvents and other chemicals. Please note that if you keep the products in hot water for a long time or wash them in a dishwasher (especially in the case of cutting boards and other utensils), they will be damaged.
It is strictly forbidden to expose any parts or surfaces of the products to temperatures above 50C°. Any hot and wet objects must be placed on stands.
Any products must be placed away from heating devices, radiators, stoves, fireplaces. The minimum recommended distance is 50 cm, or better yet, 1 m.

Compliance with these recommendations will help preserve the beauty and quality of solid wood products for many years.

Features of the products:

In the manufacture of products, natural solid wood is used, which contains special tannins. Depending on the structure of the fibers, they can stand out and affect the shade of the products, both with and without a coating.
The boards are matched in one shade, but after removing the surface layer and processing (cutting with a chainsaw, grinding and coating), the color may differ.
Products may vary from images and display models and this is not considered a defect or damage. Shade or color may also vary from images displayed on product listing sites or from products in the СОХА showroom due to lighting conditions. Minor color variations are not considered a defect or damage.
Product dimensions and colors may vary slightly due to manufacturing techniques.
Buyer is responsible for using any protective coverings to prevent damage or scratches to the floor if СОХА products are to be placed on it.
